Rough Shooting days in the Eden valley.

We can offer teams of 4 to 8 guns a package of one to four days rough/mini driven days in the picturesque Eden valley staying at the Tufton Arms Hotel. Walked up Grouse Days North Pennines

We have some availability for walked up grouse in the North Peninnes for teams of 4/5 guns. As well as opportunities for odd guns mainly late in the season from October onwards when set the set price days sometimes become available, please email Nigel with your interest.

SHOOTING AND STALKING IN WESTER ROSS

This west highland estate covers over 14,500 acres of beautiful, rugged country. It provides an ideal place for group or family holidays with added sporting opportunities. These include fishing on numerous lochs for wild brown trout and the chance of sea trout/salmon on the main 3.5 mile long loch. Boats are available on this loch. These give the chance of tremendous sport and invigorating walks in breathtaking surroundings.The estate also gives the shooting man/woman the opportunity of ptarmigan, woodcock and wildfowl, in rhododendron covered glens or on the high tops. The more serious gun can also shoot stags or hinds in the appropriate season. The estate has several stalkers plus ponies available. For the walking/climbing enthusiasts the estate has a variety of conditions from paths laid in the 19th century, to climbs needing mountaineering skills and equipment. Accommodation consists of the log house built in 1992 of estate timbers, sleeping up to 12 people in comfort with fully equipped kitchen. This season a new house has been built which accommodates 6 people in an idyllic location beside the river.

Delighted to announce that Hellbeck is once again going to provide top class partridge shooting in their valleys on the sides of the grouse moors. Days here could be combined with Whitfield to make a package and provides an exciting alternative to Grouse shooting to get your season started.

SHOOTING AT DALEMAIN ESTATE NEAR LAKE ULLSWATER

On our own Estate at Dalemain, which is near Lake Ullswater, our keeper, Des Jenking is now commencing his fifth season with us. We are very much looking forward to the new season after the successful season last year. There is a small amount of shooting still available. Our driven days are at £35 including, insurance and lunch for 200 bird days. We also have a few informal 100 head mixed days available at £2700. For those that have not shot with us, Dalemain is a lovely traditional shoot with hanging woods and guns standing out in the open in gorgeous surroundings. Grouse Shooting in the North Pennines

The grouse season is under way and results are patchy. Uptake and prices for the early part of the season are sky high as usual. However there maybe opportunities to put teams together late in the season often at short notice at more affordable prices.
